I recorded this album for my friends. And I recorded it to distract myself. But even distraction isn't totally possible--there are ambulance sirens running through a few of these mixes. It would have been impossible to use a microphone in Jersey City in April 2020 without picking them up. These are songs about love, not-love, sleeping with strangers, and fascism, I think. Who can say?

To make this I used a tiny Harmony guitar given to me by my friend Eryn, probably in 2004 or 2005. I used that and my mouth and a microphone and an interface and my computer and a free DAW and digital reverb, delay, pitch shifting, EQ, distortion, compression, and, on one song, an ipad.

I wrote the three THERES. Not THERES are not mine, theirs.
